On the occasion of National Handloom Day dated on 7th August, 2026 B.Des. students visited Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur. During the visit, the students explored and observed a variety of handloom art and textiles from multiple states including weavers service centre, Jaipur The experience provided them with valuable insights into traditional weaving techniques and regional craftsmanship, enriching their understanding of diverse handloom traditions. This visit aimed to promote awareness of India’s rich textile heritage and inspire future fashion designers to incorporate traditional handloom art into their creations.
