Awareness towards the green environment is mandatory for students. Eco – Club organizes various activities like, tree plantation, water conservation, waste and water management, development of medicinal plants, Herbarium, study of Bio –diversity etc. Efforts for clean and green campus are being made through awareness and Eco- Club rallies. To support the nationwide cleanliness drive, NSS units under ECO –CLUB also contributes in spreading consciousness about “ SWACCH BHARAT ABHIYAN” in near by villages in which the students have participated with full enthusiasm.

In order to promote the philosophy of ‘ Eco- Club’ college has installed solar plants to preserve energy and reduce dissipation. Botanical garden has been developed to educate students and faculty members and to stimulate consciousness among students. Eco- Club in collaboration with other organizations and institutions has organized various outdoor activities to sensitize environmental causes which are as follows :-

• A one day training and awareness programme was organized by Forestry Training Institute, Jaipur in which students of Botany Department participated and secured first position.
• On 16th September, 2018, World Ozone Day was celebrated at ‘ Smritivan’, JLN marg by Forest Department, Jaipur. Students of Botany participated actively in this event.
• Students of Botany visited ‘Bird fair’ organized by Indian Human Ecology Council (CHEC), India and Tourism and Wildlife Society of Science.

These activities not only satisfied the instincts and urges of students but also channelized their energy by providing them opportunities for the optimum use of their skills and talents.
