Subodh Shiksha Samiti

Subodh Shiksha Samiti, a nonprofit organization established in 1918, by  a group of visionaries  has consistently aimed to build educational institutions in Jaipur to enhance quality of education in a traditional, innovative and creative framework. It has a formidable reputation located in various parts of the city and   attracts students from various places of the country. The samiti has built its reputation by excellence in higher education that continuously responds to changing social realities through the development and application of knowledge through its 20 institutions under it. The Samiti has been recognised as a vanguard of change in shaping the future of many students. With the vision of maintaining consistent excellence in academic standards, the Samiti functions through a Board of Governors with hard work, dedication, discipline and strong determination. Teamwork and shouldering high levels of responsibility are the key factors in determining the efficiency of its members. 

With the motto “Strive to achieve highest” not only in academics but in overall development of students, the Samiti   owns a range of institutions from playgroups to post graduate colleges, law and management institute in various parts of the city.  Its commitment to enlighten the young minds through education has always been a key model in the development of many generations and this will continue in the future also.

About College

At 18 years of its inception, S.S Jain Subodh Girls P.G College, Sanganer stands as an exceptional provider of quality higher education on the national horizon, with the avowed aim of spreading the benefits of education to women and synchronizing tradition with modernity. It is a multi-faculty institution that aims to blend curricular and co curricular activities and provide an excellent model of what a women's college can do for women's development.

The thrust of the college is on the highly innovative and efficient management of all its resources–human and infrastructural and an endless desire to be in pace with the education and its challenges of technology, communication and media. The college combines a commitment to teaching excellence by offering Post graduate courses in Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Political Science, History, Geography, EAFM and ABST. Our students have also grabbed meritorious position in the University merit list and also won gold and silver medals in sports and other activities.

Various clubs dealing in multiple topics and streams have been constituted to provide better quality and session planning and execution of the activities round the year. Opportunities for extensive sports and cultural activities along with the academic thrust create confidence and enable the students to relate and use knowledge in real life situations. Altogether it helps in inculcating a strong sense of commitment to national, social and aesthetic value.

College has also signed MOU's with various International and National organizations aiming at raising the level of higher education by attaining sustainable development and achieving higher growth rates which could be enabled through creation, transmission and dissemination of knowledge. Many faculties and students have been trained so far. 

The College campus continues to evolve, but the only thing that remains unchanged is the institution's commitment to student success. As a mission-driven college, a student remains at the forefront of every decision made and we continue to find better ways to meet the needs of the young girls.

Campus Code

The college attaches great importance to discipline and the same must be scrupulously observed by all students. Failure to comply with any of the rules, regulations or requirements notified from time to time will lead to strict disciplinary action.

• Students are required to abide by all the rules and regulations laid down by the college authorities.
• A student should maintain at least 75% attendance in the lectures of every subject and 100% overall performance. Otherwise, she will be debarred from the University Examination.
• Students must carry identity cards at all times. 
• It is mandatory for all students to be properly clad in the standard prescribed college uniform. 
• During leisure hours, students are advised to use the library as much as possible.
• Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited as per the order of the Supreme Court.
• Smoking and chewing tobacco, pan masala is strictly prohibited. 
• Students are expected to read the college notice board and notices forwarded in the Whatsapp group of classes regularly.
• Students are expected to take proper care of the college property and cooperate in keeping the premises clean and tidy.
• Use of mobile phones in the college campus is highly restricted.
• Any act which obstructs teaching, research, administrative activity and other proceedings of the college is strictly prohibited.
• Every student will remain answerable to the college authority for his/her activity and conduct on the College Premises.
• Parents/ guardians are required to meet the respective subject teachers to keep themselves informed about their wards' attendance and progress, whenever called by the college authorities, in the interest and welfare of their wards.
