On 25th September 2025, students of the 3rd & 5th semester of Department of Home Science actively participated in a one-day seminar jointly organized by the Department of Home Science, University of Rajasthan, and PATH. The seminar focused on “Integrating Millets and Food Fortification: Accelerating Nutrition Solutions” and highlighted innovative strategies to improve nutrition outcomes across India. a welcome address and felicitation of guests by Prof. (Dr.) Kanika Varma, Head of the Department of Home Science, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.
The seminar was graced by leading experts, academicians, medical professionals, and community representatives. Keynote speakers included•    Dr. Ankur Mutreja, Director – External Affairs and Health Security, India Country Program, PATH•    Dr. Dayakar Rao, Director, Nutrihub, Indian Institute of Millets Research•    Dr. Minakshi Singh, Nutrition Specialist, UNICEF Rajasthan•    Dr. Shweta Khandelwal, Vice President, IPE GlobalParticipants engaged in insightful discussions on nutrition challenges and opportunities, gaining valuable perspectives from the experts. The seminar provided a dynamic platform for students to learn, interact, and contribute to the nation’s nutrition initiatives.
