The Department of Fashion Design organized a Live Sketching Class on September 20th, 2025 at Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK), Jaipur. The session was planned with the objective of providing students an opportunity to observe, analyze and translate real life surroundings into creative sketches, thereby enhancing their practical skills.

 With sketching kits in hand, the students enthusiastically participated in the session, capturing different architectural views, sculptures and lively surroundings of JKK through their artwork.

Faculty members guided the students throughout the activity, offering constructive feedback and motivating them to improve their observation skills and drawing techniques. The open air environment at JKK provided a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere for creativity and exploration.

The session proved to be both educational and enjoyable, as students not only practiced their sketching skills but also developed confidence in working outside the classroom setup. The interactive learning experience received positive responses and students actively raised queries, which were addressed by the faculty.
