S.S. Jain Subodh Girls P.G. College, Sanganer, Jaipur, under the aegis of Subodh Shiksha Samiti, observed the 79th Independence Day with grandeur and patriotic solemnity on 15th August 2025. The celebration embraced the theme “?????, ??????? ?? ????: ???? ?? ???????? ???????” symbolising the indomitable courage of the nation’s forebears, the transformative power of scientific progress, and the aspirational vision guiding India’s future.

The ceremonious occasion was dignified by the presence of the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Justice Shri Anil Kumar Upman, Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur Bench. The event was further honoured by the esteemed presence of Shri Navratan Kothari Ji, President, Subodh Shiksha Samiti and Hon’ble Minister Shri Sumer Singh Ji Bothra. Shri Sanjeev Kothari Ji, College Convener, along with senior office bearers of the Samiti, Principals and Coordinators of allied institutions, faculty members, alumnae, distinguished citizens, parents and the student fraternity, lent their gracious presence to the celebration.

The programme commenced with the hoisting of the Tricolour, followed by a resounding rendition of “Vande Mataram.” Thereafter, students presented an evocative sequence of cultural performances patriotic songs, synchronised dances and dramatic enactments that vividly resurrected the saga of India’s struggle for independence. These artistic expressions paid solemn tribute to the martyrs and stirred profound patriotic emotions among the assembled audience.

In his keynote address, the Chief Guest, Justice Shri Anil Kumar Upmann, delivered a thought-provoking oration on the sanctity of freedom and the indispensable role of youth in nation-building. His reflective words served as a clarion call to the younger generation to embody resilience, uphold integrity and pursue innovation in shaping a progressive India.

The commemoration culminated with expressions of gratitude towards the dignitaries, guests and participants, followed by the collective singing of the National Anthem. The resonant chorus across the campus symbolised unity, reverence and unwavering devotion to the motherland.

The Independence Day celebration at S.S. Jain Subodh Girls P.G. College thus emerged not merely as a ceremonial observance but as a solemn reaffirmation of the nation’s legacy of sacrifice and a compelling reminder of every citizen’s responsibility towards a luminous national destiny.
