REPORT ON PARTICIPATION IN SHIMMER – WEDDING AND GIFT EXPO

Introduction

The Department of Fashion Design, S.S. Jain Subodh Girls PG College, Jaipur, actively participated in Shimmer – a grand Wedding and Gift Expo. This two-day exhibition was organized  by Mrs. Alka Agarwal on January 10th & 11th 2025 and showcased a variety of creative and handcrafted items. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Saumya Gurjar, Mayor of Jaipur Nagar Nigam Greater.

Objective

The main objective of participating in this exhibition was to provide students with a platform to display their creativity, gain exposure to market trends, and interact with industry professionals. It also aimed to enhance their understanding of fashion, handicrafts and innovative designs.
