Educational Tour Report: Nahargarh Biological Park.
As part of our academic curriculum, an educational tour was organized by Department of Zoology of S.S.Jain Subodh Girls P.G. College, Sanganer, Jaipur Rajasthan for UG and PG students to Nahargarh Biological Park, Jaipur, Rajasthan on the 19th December 2024. The tour aimed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to the rich biodiversity of the region, while promoting environmental awareness and conservation.The main objectives of this educational tour were ---
1. To observe and study the flora and fauna of the Nahargarh Biological Park.
2. To understand the importance of conservation and management of biodiversity.
3. To develop skills in observation, recording, and interpretation of biological data.
4. To foster teamwork and collaboration among students.
Students observed various animal species, including Asiatic lions, Bengal tigers, leopards, and several bird species.
Students learned about the park's conservation initiatives, such as habitat restoration, animal breeding programs, and/ community outreach.
The educational tour to Nahargarh Biological Park was a resounding success, providing students with a unique and enriching experience. The tour achieved its objectives, enhancing students' knowledge, awareness, and skills in biodiversity conservation. We look forward to organizing similar tours in the future.This educational tour was accompanied by 71 students and faculty of the Department of Zoology,Dr.Seema Saxena (HOD), Dr. Mahima Sharma, Dr. Renu Sharma ,Dr. Samiya Khan and Dr. Bhawana Vasishtha.
